they weren't calling him a ricer cuz of his car, it's the exhaust note. Although I thought HKS had a deep nice tone, so I don't see how they could have mistaken that tone for the typical fart can Civic rice exhausts.

in any case, the stock VQ exhaust not owns any aftermarket exhaust, it's just TOOOOO nice sounding and I doubt anyone can call that rice, especially when it's the nicest stock exhaust sound out of any car not including exotics.

I guess it depends on the age group you belong to. Me being somewhat older then most of you guys I come from a time that any *** car was considered rice, so to me we all drive rice cars. You guys can call it what you like, but the definition of "Rice" was around before most of you were born, so if you drive a *** car you're a Ricer.

Bottom line, the older the G's get, the cheaper they get, and more folks will take ownership and do things that rice out the G's .. Not saying this about yours, cause it doesn't look bad at all but this is becoming a more common topic. Value in the US still take's the top shelf of individuals thoughts and feelings about whips...If our G's could hold the value of a NSX or a Supra 5 years later then you would have less of a chance of getting negative comments. BTW (There are still some riced out Supra's and NSX's but not as common due to the price tag of a used one) Like I said don't sweat it kid, keep it clean and do what you want. Funny thing about this value on G's, I was at my boys shop in Laurel and a dude was there that just purchased a late model G coupe with a greddy TT kit and some other stuff already on it and he paid like 10K...
