I need to paint my carbon fiber.
Lon story short I was rear ended a few weeks ago, while in the process of fixing the car I decided to change a few pieces here and there...front & rear bumper, hood, trunk, etc...
Here is the dilemma:
I have a TS carbon fiber hood and MG2 carbon fiber trunk coming in to the shop this week. I want to partially paint the carbon fiber but have not made up my mind on how to paint the hood. I'm not sure if I want to leave the entire middle portion raw or just a small portion of the vents, this also applies to the trunk (I could just leave the small upslope raw and paint the rest). I will also paint the roof black latter on down the road if I go with the large middle parts left raw scheme.
I want to keep the car clean and not too overdone, so sometimes I feel like just painting it all red to match and calling it a day.
First pic is how the car looks now.
Second pic is the partial vent painting.
Third and Fourth pics are middle of hood raw
Fifth pic is the trunk paint scheme.
BTW if I used your car for the Photoshop I apologize.

to be honest with you, no cf trunks or hoods classify under the "clean" category
i dont mess with crazy vents in the hood and dips in the trunks etc etc
but since you already have it, you should go for an agressive look
and leave the hood raw paint the roof black and leave the trunk raw but paint the area
next to the tails red so from an overview everything looks black, now that would be sick
