Just got out of the military, and have a decent job and I let my GI bill pay for my mod bug cause my employer pays 80% tuition reimbursement anyways...haha So I never understand when people say they are a broke college kid You know what they say, work hard play hard.

I definately don't fall into that category, though I know a few that do. I have a $320/mo car payment and $200/mo insurance I need to deal with, but people like to say my parents bought it for me to make themselves feel better! lol

All my parents did was test drive it since I couldn't (I was almost 17 at the time) Foolishness since my bank account would be the one getting drained because of the car, not theirs

^^ The reason most of the younger group fit that category is cause it takes more than making the payments to get a car. The reality is 99% of 18 year olds dont have the kind of down payment needed, or the credit established to get a 20k+ car. So their parents "get" them the car, then the kid makes the payments. Thats only part of "buying" a car. Not sayin thats you cause I dont know your situation, im just speakin my .02

Yeah I know what you're saying, I was working since I was old enough to be employed (haha) so I had the down payment and everything, the cars currently in my name now that I'm 18 and doing fine

My job offers direct deposit and the credit union that I'm financing through takes 80/wk out of my check for my payment so its like the money was never there and I don't feel the heartache of having to watch my account drop every month haha

But a lot of kids I know try to buy something nice, and can afford the car but not service/repairs etc and end up selling it for something a little less prestigious =)

Street pharmacy pays for the mods, state pays for the mortgage, bills, and gf's expectations.

Better question would be, what the hell does everyone do for a living? Then you can take a guess at what they bring home.

In that case.... I'm a student so little to no money. 5-6 years down the road I'll be a cop....so still no money haha
Ahh, and already exhibiting the undesirable qualities of a stupid pig.
