Sorry again for mundane question. But does anyone know if the "drain plug gasket" which is changed with each oil change is compatable with say a nissan part? My inifiniti dealer is one hour away, Nissan 10min..... Thanks

it's called a crush washer, you can get them online for much cheaper if you google it.

install with lip facing the threads. flat side down. think of it as a flange.
