My suggestion:

If they won't cover the third brake light area with tint then remove the brake light, paint the inner housing black, reinstall and it should look better then the willow(?) color...

Also

Raise hell about the door. That's completely unacceptable.

same thing happen to me as far as melting the leather but the shop was cool enough to cover me a new door panel. the only waiver they made me sign was a waiver stating that it is illegal to tint the front windows and should i get pulled over and need to remove them they will charge me like 60 bucks.

no where in that waiver did it say about damage. i wouldnt even sign that waiver if it said they are not held liable if they mess up my car. These people are "professionals" and should be held liable for a "professional" job.

thats like taking my car to a mechanic and signing a waiver saying we need to test drive your car, should we crash it we aint liable for it.

go raise hell call, get the owner's information and make him get you another panel. and my car only had 500 miles on the odometer at the time,

Thank you everyone for all of the supportive responses, I really appreciate that. I went back today, but now I need to go back tomorrow because the manager and the owner were not there. I'm suppose to go back @ 5pm and also need to leave work an hour early... yay.

@ pczavala: Do you know if the whole inside door panel needs to be replaced or is the top area that was damaged a separate part? Do you know what the part # is and how much it costs? Thanks!

In NJ it's the law that they can't tint over the 3rd brake light. My shop sells tint and every car is done the same as yours and no we don't ask or give the customer the option. Not sure where you live, but the law may be the same there as well.

So they sent me to this place called Seamless Custom to just have the top part of the panel that was damaged redone... what do you guys think of this? Should I bitch about getting a completely new door panel or see how this comes out first?

^ i highly doubt they can replace just the top and if they do it wont look right, from what i am aware of its one big piece, and it ran the guy about 500 bucks (dealer)

He tried to send me a touch up guy to "fix" it but they said it wouldnt look right so then he just got me a new panel

Update: The shop replaced just the damaged section and it actually came out great... except for the color... does not match. So I'm having a whole new door panel ordered and installed from Infiniti whether Rayco likes it or not.
