Sprint booster help
Ok guys I bought one, got a sprint booster for my auto 2003 G35.
I do have lag in the accelerator pedal, especially compared to my 2007 G35 sedan.
So anyways got the SPRINT BOOSTER!
Now how the hell do you install it?
I went to the website and this is under installation:
SprintBooster Installation
1. Loosen the accelerator pedal module from the floorboard.
2. Unplug the harness from the accelerator module.
3. Plug in the SprintBooster inline with the harness and accelerator module.
4. Re-install the accelerator module.
5. That's it!
Happy Motoring!
Does anyone know where the accelerator module is?
I looked under the dash by the gas pedal and I don't see where to plug it in all I saw was this:

The picture was a joke.....
Anyways I had to remove the plastic under my dash slightly(plastic trim under steering wheel.....
A little tight under there, but got to the accelerator module which sits at the very top of the pedal!
Anyways while laying on my back, on the damn floor board of the driver seat I unplugged it. The plug is on the front of the assembly. so you pull it out toward the driver seat.
Anyways thanks for the help. Now for the TEST DRIVE!!!!

First impressions of sprint booster
Ok so after a quick test drive.....
I own a 2007 Sedan with the newer motor dual intakes etc. Throttle response is light and seems quick to rev....
My 2003 Coupe does have lack of throttle response compared to the sedan so that is what I wanted....a product that would make my 03 more like my 07 in throttle.
Well the Sprint booster does that. No my car is not faster, I did not gain horsepower, but it is a step in the right direction....
Throttle response is now very similar to my sedan and and 1/4 pedal it feels like it does something. Before 1/4 pedal was dead......
So all in all good product for throttle response of the pedal. Now it takes light effort to control throttle just like a 2007+ G35 sedan or 2008+ G37 coupe.

Glad it worked. Where did you get it and how much was it?

before I get a bunch of crap...
I talked to Bryan and Z1(a sponsor here) and no I could not use a utec or uprev to correct my pedal "feel" so that is why I bought this product.
I wanted the throttle(gas pedal) to require lighter effort. More response from pressing the gas pedal. Now at a 1/4 pedal the car is moving( very similar to my 2007 sedan)
The 2007 sedan with the dual intake motor is quick to rev with very little pedal effort. Had complants on my sedan (friends I let test drive it) that the 2007 sedan gas pedal is a on/off switch at a 1/4 pedal effort. Which is true I like the lower pedal effort of the new G35/G37.

Sprint booster
I got it from Z1 motorsports. He was doing a special $279 shipped. I don't know if he still is. I talked to Bryan. They are a main sponsor here.
Anyways happy with the product.
The biggest review will be when the wife drives it. Her biggest complaint was the pedal effort on the coupe versus the sedan. She loves driving my sedan because of how responsive the gas pedal is.
She hates the coupe since it needs more pedal effort to get going as she puts it. Oh, but the coupe looks so much better than the sedan so she rather look good than enjoy the drive....
Anyways I did not tell her I put this in so I will update what she says...

Reverse
I don't think so, but maybe it does I will have to drive it more to notice if in reverse it is sensitive.
I was thinking going blitz, but I did not need all the options...maybe not yet.
Future is F/I but my car is not going to be used for drifting or road racing where I can see the Blitz being a better option.

it's just like the blitz throttle controller which i have on my car it has 4 modes and you can turn it off if needed.
I had a hard time finding that module also on top of the pedal. Question does the sprint booster have a reverse cancel? Meaning it doesn't work while in reverse?
