But of course, receiving a settlement from the accident, to buy a body kit or car parts or anything that is not a necessity, other than a desire.....................Mmmmm, with all due respect, I would have to pass on that.

H3ry....are you nuts? If you like and enjoy your G35 why would you want it damaged. That's the same mentality as the guy marries a young lady, decides he doesn't like her and cuts her throat. If you don't like your G sell it. That reminds me of an employee that had an Datsun roadster, hated the car so he buried it in the desert claiming it was stolen....crazy!
Gary

Its actually quite the opposite Gary. I actually love my G so much, that I would willingly go through the hassle that is an accident to be able to get the parts I want to upgrade the thing. I won't ever sell my car, I'll drive it until its dead and gone, in the words of Justin.

Sounds like those people that get their stock wheels stolen and gets a check for 4 or 5k... wasn't even asking for it either, but damn that must feel nice after seeing your car on bricks.

Here’s a karma scenario…

OP is rolling down the fwy at 70 mph, slams brakes on to avoid debris in the road and gets rear-ended by another G35 - ends up paralyzed and in a wheel chair for life… in a court deposition the G35 driver that rear ended him testifies that he is a G35Driver.com member and presents exhibit “A”, documenting this entire thread. Case dismissed, no mod money for you, now go sit in the corner in your wheel chair.

OP your statement is such an incredibly stupid thing to say… you should just delete the entire thread.

This is one of those things everyone wants to talk about but you shouldn't really talk about. I have a friend whose stock 19"s got stolen and ended up getting 20" iForged's in return.

A simple "I disagree" would have sufficed. And I don't believe in karma, so your little scare tactics have failed. I'm not deleting the thread, because as you can see, there are plenty of people that agree with me. Since you are not one of those people, you obviously do not belong here and should therefore not post here anymore.

Always prepared to get hit by a careless driver...........I do agree with you.
But like I said, going thru all that trouble, just to buy something that isn't a necessity........deep down inside, I disagree with you.

i got crashed into in february, not in my car but my girls car along with her daughter in the car - the idiot who ran into us had a case of road rage and we ended up in cairo therapy for about 2 months and i ended it early cuz it was cutting into my day/work/expenses etc. not the best of things to go thru and we are still going thru a court case coming up in time. would i recommend it? nope, not worth all the frustration, missed work, headaches and pain. but hey if thats what you want then go ahead, i prefer working hard, earning my money, moving up in the corporate ladder and keeping a clean record.

edit: out of this case that i am going thru right now. after lawyer fee's and doctor fee's and other expenses its possible that we may only get to keep 4K each out of this settlement and thats at the most! cant even buy a turbo kit!
