I wished it, and it happened. That's how I got my G35x - upgraded from a Caddy CTS after some dumb soccer mom with a death wish totalled it back in Sept. of last year... The CTS was great at first, but then it was one problem after another... I'll never buy American again, I can promise you that.

I know a guy who's dad's M3 got rear ended and everybody was fine, and he ended up with a full body kit, fresh coat of paint, new taillights AND HEADLIGHTS, among other goodies.
I'm sorry, did you just say M3 and body kit in the same sentence?

We are one in the same my friend. It's never a good thing when you know your service advisor on a first hand "This is Scott again?" basis.

GM = Fail. Soon as the warranty was done I traded it in for the G.

i wish someone would just slightly tap my rear passenger door! because i have a huge scratch on it right now. but then again, when you wish for things like this sometimes it comes true but not in the way you wanted to be.
and to the OP: not all cases are the way you think it would be, such as getting hit by someone and thinking that you would get full body kit or anything like that.

^ Oh I'm very aware, but alot just depends on how you handle it, and I have blemishes all over the G, so I would handle it well.

once your car is in an accident it will never be the same again. especially with mechanical issues.

Damn right - as soon as I woke up from being knocked out for a couple of seconds by the airbag, all I kept praying in my head was - "please be totalled. please be a write-off." Not usually the first thing most people would think in a major accident, but it's true - I did.
