Or......do what I'm doing and get hired straight out of college, make good bucks, and get your employer to pay for your masters!!!!! FTW

To the OP:

You're posting a rant on Driver's because you felt you didn't deserve a used luxury sports coupe while you're still in school?

It's an economically sound decision, I don't understand what your concern is.

I think it's only a problem if it's affecting your ability to pay rent, food, and other bills. Otherwise I don't see a problem.

But I kinda understand where you are coming from, I paid 25k in cash for my G. And my stomach did turn when I opened my account and seen 25 large missing in it lol. I did question myself "did I really need this", but that lasted for about 5 minutes. Now I'm just enjoying the G, and I think it was totally worth it.

I've had buyers remorse on EVERY car i've ever bought.

As long as you aren't sacrificing your rent, schooling, bills, social life, etc, then there is no problem. It's a used $20K car...not like you bought a $55K E-class Benz or something.

I had HUGE buyers remorse when I bought mine.. Especially after taking it to the track and getting my *** handed to me by faster modded POS cars..

I'm 20 also and got myself a 04 sedan. Do work at an investment bank in NYC along with full time school...Driving either to work or school in this vehicle makes every dollar worth it!

The only remorse I have is that I bought mine brand new and should have thought about getting a slightly used one. I will never buy a new luxury car again. Too much loss right up front.

I would say start a separate bank account to stash maintenance money in it because when you start to do little things like brakes and tires it gets kind of expensive.

Think twice and give it some time. I know exactly how you feel. It happened to me after I bought my 2008 G35 sedan. I felt like it was too much car for me and I would have been better off driving my POS 92 Accord with 260k miles on it. Don't worry though, keep driving your G35 and soon you will realize that you deserve it. Give it a couple weeks. All in all, you can afford it. So, not like you're going to go broke or anything.

When I was 21 in college, I bought myself a new 04 G35 coupe. (It did get keyed twice in the parking lots, stupid haters).

If you can rock it, go for it.

I just bought a G37 coupe about 4 months ago and I am still regretting that one. I love the car but should have got a Corvette.

Heres my advice:

1) Get in car.
2) Put your purse in the passengers seat.
3) Clutch in.
4) Turn on car.
5) Emergency brake off
6) Give it a little gas. Clutch out.
7) Enjoy.

If you work hard and can afford it, no reason not to enjoy the good life now while you're young. Lifes all about priorities. If having a nice car is one of yours, then you picked the perfect one. Congrats on the car and enjoy it fully.
