Coupes Tires?

Ok so I have a G35 coupe. I noticed todays my rear tires seem to be loosing tread depth, but its more in the middle than the edges... Is that normal? The outside edges seem to have more tread depth left. If if helps tires as only lasted about 20-25k miles.... May be able to make another 5k... Any insight would be helpful.

are your tires over inflated? thats a pretty good life on the tires. ive read about people only getting 12-15k miles. also how bad are the tires with tread to the wear bars? if you have a tire depth gauge 2/32 you really should change the tire.

I see the middle wear out quickly on the coupes, on all types of tires.

Your tires shouldn't be inflated for more than 35 to 37 PSI or you will wear out the centers of your tires. If you look at what it tells you on the drivers door jam Nissan/Infiniti recommends 35 PSI, it's a good idea to believe them since they built the car....also it rides better using the correct tire pressue.... On the sidewall of your tires it give a maximum tire pressure, that has
nothing to do with what you should be running! (35PSI)

+1 and it's always good to check the tire pressure for long drives and change of weather.

Mileage on your tires is very dependent on the driving style and the tires themselves. I'd be quite upset if I only got 25K on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S because they have a 45,000 mile rating. But if I got 15K out of some Bridgestone RE050's I'd be thrilled.

If you're worn past 2/32" then it's time to replace them. If you live in a dry climate, you can stretch that a little bit, but they will become more and more dangerous to drive in wet weather the longer you wait.
