I stick to the major brand stations.

I don't go to mom+pop type small stations. I've had plenty of expeirence with cars running "funny" after putting in gas from one of those no-name stations.

I seek out Mobil stations when i can and use 93 octane in my G35

I only put Shell 93 Octane gas in my cars. Not sure if it's any better than the other major brands.

Shell and especially Sunoco because they have that sweet 103 octane when needed.

if he was tuned for it, yes.

if anything you will lose performance with that high of an octane in an engine designed to run on 91.

Octane doesn't make power...it just allows the mods and tune to achieve maximum potential.

If your car is basically stock, anything over 91 octane is just wasting money. 103 would be better suited to a high compression, high boost or a specific tune designed specifically for it.

Chevron here, the best we can do here in CA. is 91 octane. I've wished for years that Sunoco would have come west....
