old thread bump


I just noticed on my 05 6mt that was built in September has a RAS icon in the guage cluster. But I dont have RAS... weird

could only see it when the sun light hits the gauge cluster and viewing it from an angle

 

RAS is good but i hate it when it comes to gettin tru dual exhausts lol

 

I have a 2007 G35 with all options including RAS. Just noticed the light next to VDC off light. You can't miss the RAS unit as it is a very wide unit behind the differential. The diff cover may have it's fill or drain plug positioned differently because of RAS interference. I have an HKS exhaust and there is rubbing on the RAS unit but I put some rubber sheet material on the exhaust pipe to prevent contact and reduce sound transfer. The HKS site says it doesn't fit. The dealer installed it before I bought the car. It has 106k and is a SoCal car. No rust, no smoker, no pets. It's for sale as I'm 72 and just too old to shift a manual anymore. The door is too heavy for me. Original except for the HKS. I have a new OEM clutch master and slave plus the Z1 SS hose to install. Asking 8k. I just changed all the fluids except brake fluid to Redline.

 

i doubt it :P how would i know im owning Speed Test corners at 45 mph and i'm inside the car while it's happening :P
