Volk GT-7 19" wheel spacer question.

Hey guys. I've recently bought Volk GT-7 19". i don't know what offset it is, bought it used from local body shop mechanic. he was installing the rims without the spacers on my 04 G coupe which has brembo brakes and ended up leaving curb rashes right below the BREMBO lettering. he said he would paint it for me but will it be noticeble badly? any also, what thickness of spacers are needed to clear out brembos. I NEED HELP !

if its 30 .. it would clear .. try a 5mm spacer .. if it just brushed the caliper then 5mm should def clear .. if the clearence is real bad .. the wheel wouldnt even turn, it would just hit the caliper and stop .. if the stickers are still on the inside of the barrel it will tell you the offset

yeah... i just thought that too. i see that wheel just scraped caliper paint all around and that means it is slightly touching the caliper. so... i'll throw in 5mm spacer. but now.... can i trust autozone or pepboy's spacer?

Trust....hmm as long as you don't drive your G you'll be fine. I wouldn't trust anything that came out of either of those stores where my life depended on it! I personally dislike wheel spacers but you don't have a choice if you want those wheels....did you check our MARKETPLACE for wheels?

Just stick with name brand spacers like Project Kics, H&R, etc. Don't risk getting pepboys.

I agree. Get some good spacers. If you're going with 5mm they won't be too expensive.
