After buying the 9500ix I can't imagine having a detector w/o gps so you don't get any more false alerts, but each detector has its advantages so you just have to prioritize what you'd rather have.

I broke the connectors off the wire a while ago and made new ones. Works better than before now.

You can make your own invisicord in about 5 minutes...

Got a new mount. Works a lot better and it keeps the Passport mounted solid and it has a lower profile. The quality of this mount is good as it gets.

I made the claim about the old mount because I didn't know about the one I have now.

If they that do that they're asking to get shot.

It's really easy to take off. Takes 3 seconds.

I got it from http://www.blendmount.com/

If i see them doing it you can bet my XD would make an appearance, but i doubt theyd do that in front of my apartment. Besides the cameras we have a security guard who sits not 40 feet away in his car.

Id love to get that mount as well, does the cord connector work on say an 03 G coupe. It has the homelink functions and such. I may be ordering this tonight

So I've had my 9500 hardwired on the mirror for about 6 months now and everything's been fine, but I've started noticing that when I hit little bumps in the road, especially after my eibach drop which stiffens the suspension, there is a rattling noise that comes from the passport almost as if something inside seems loose. Anyone else experience this or have this problem?

I had to take apart my X 50 to reattach the plastic plate that contains the button on the top to release the detector from the mount. I had pressed too hard on it and literally poshed it off the top cover to which it was mounted. Other than that there's not a whole lot inside the detector that could rattle.

Any issues with the radar itself rattling with the new mount?? I only ask because the stock mount isnt as snug as it should be and is very annoying
Also will the same mount work for G37??

It doesn't rattle at all. I think it works with the G37 also. I don't think Nissan changed the mirror mount.
