Got some newb questions about available options and stuff

I have read some sticky's, and browsed through some other threads, and searched some stuff. I've learned alot, but still have some questions.

I'm looking for a specific G35. I'm wanting an 07' since I've heard there were changes in the interior, and engine for the better. I want a coupe, paddle shifters, bluetooth, sport pkg, aws, would like nav, and awd. I'm having a hell of a time finding this exact car. I would like it to be black also. Are some of these options only available in the sedan?

Also is my knowledge that the 07' had some changes for the better, or is that a thing only for the sedan also? It seems like alot of stuff only pertains to the sedan.

Thanks, Cory

No coupe or sedan has paddle shifters, awd is only a sedan option

I've found lots with paddle shifters from the factory. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false there is a link to one.

What about all wheel steering?

I consistantly find G35's with paddle shifters. It seems they are all 08's and sedans. I have found a couple 07's though. Do just ALOT of people add them on?

You can add them on, but I dont know how many people actually do it, if their car did not come with it.

Your having a hell of a time trying to find the car because your description doesn't exsist.

Adding paddle shifters isn't a cheap thing to do. G35's don't have paddle shifters.
06 and 07 interior is very similar.
and like beebo said awd is only available if you get a sedan.

The new body style didn't start until 2008 for the Coupe. A 2007 is the same as a 2006. AWD isn't offered on the Coupe, and I'd stay away from the Rear Active Steering. It offers very little in performance while adding weight and a very complex system that won't be as reliable as a standard setup.

Considering the somewhat major mistakes you've made in not knowing what comes on the model you're looking at, I'd suggest doing more research on the various years and models.

Welcome to Driver Cory....!

You shouldn't have much problem finding a '07 OB (that's black) coupe with the premium package, that's about as close to your wish list as you'll find.

I know I have quite the wish list I'm going from a Highly modified 01 WS6 to a luxury car, so I want It all so I don't get bored with the car. I'm not planning on modding the car because of all the reliability problems I ran into with the WS6.

So you want it all but don't plan to mod, eh? Good luck with that. I think a lot of us started with your thought, "It's a G35 it'll have everything I want on it. No need to mod" Then we join this forum, read about everything that's possible to do to the car, get bit by the mod bug, and go into deep, debilitating debt to make it even cooler than it was.

OK maybe the last thought was a little extreme, but you get what I'm saying. If you come from a highly modified car, my guess it'll be hard not to start the process on your G. G/L with your search.

Of course i'll do the normal Intake/exhaust thing. But that is where it will end. I'll get a G to be nice and reliable. I have a second TA to be fast. It looks like it will be a long search. From what I've learned so far I'm looking for a 2006-07 G35 coupe, A5, Black or white, 19" wheels, premium pkg, sport tuned Susp. Under 35K miles. Not over $25k.

Apearantly everything else I want is a sedan only option. But I DON'T want a sedan...
