Duct tape on sidewall

Just bought some G37 Sport wheels/tires off ebay and need to get the duct tape residue (from shipping) off the sidewalls. I have Goof-off, but dont want to destroy the rubber. Anyone have any experience or input??

Goof off should work fine. Just don't let it soak into the tire. Apply then rub off. I used it to debadge my back end and it didn't affect the paint.

goof-off (and the like) shouldn’t hurt the tires... they are pretty durable - there is some pretty harsh cr@p on the roads we drive (particularly during rain)... just wash them off good when you're done and it should be fine.

Used Goof Off sparingly, washed, rinsed, then used tire shine. What do you think?

I wouldnt recommend that tire shine stuff at all,it causes nothing but problems down the road with tires.
