G37 engine in G35???

Ok I am sure this has been asked before, but I wanted to talk more in depth about this swap.

Can the g37 block have G35 heads mounted so that we are just using the block?

I have heard the G37 block is stronger and can handle higher boost? Be cheaper to get a crashed G37 engine than build a G35 engine and it is still oem minus the head swap?

What you guys think??

i haven't really read much about it but from what ive heard, just getting everything needed to make it work would be extremely expensive.

^^ Civics, tegs, accords, preludes can all be swapped out with little to no work needed to make them fit.

It was on ebay. I was going to buy it as a back up block when I boost.

the extra .2 liters isnt what gives the 3.7 30 extra HP. its the new head design. it a whole new system of controlling optimum valve lift and phasing. pretty sweet new set up.

sounds like more headache than its worth.

Stick with a 3.5....!

Since this swap is such a PIA to do, find a G35 block and have it built with strong internals. Then there's the option of having one built in Japan from one of there super tuners and shipping it home....wouldn't that be cool? (fantasy build....haha)
