rear camber kit question

I am wondering if we need to use the toe bolts that came with the kit, does it matter if I used the stock bolts from the old camber kit when I installed the aftermarket camber kit?

why would you use the stock toe bolts when you already paid for the aftermarket ones?

lazy to dremel out bigger holes?

I see.

well I had a lot of screws on the ground, and it was hot outside, so I was just putting back on the bolts with the camber kit on, and I realized when I put everything back together that I had the toe bolts in the trunk still.

I just wanted to know if theres a big diff.

Ill probably just ask the shop Im going to get an alignment at if they need the toe bolts to correct the camber I guess?

You will not have limited toe adjustment without properly installing the toe bolts and dremeling the holes, and thus limit your camber adjustment since camber changes directly affect the toe values

your kit should come with a template.

simply fill in where template overlaps current toe bolt hole with marker and dremel out marked areas (on both sides).

you need to do some research before buying anymore parts...

Elongating those holes with a Dremel tool will take a while, go thru several attachments and wear out your Dremel. Have the alignment shop do this with an impact gun/grinder, takes all of 4 seconds....that Japan steel is thick/hard!

^+1 it took us about 3 hours to do both sides.. and you definitely need the fittings that go around the toe bolts in order to adjust them.

The rear subframe is aluminum. If you are grinding steel, then you installed them in the wrong spot, on the end of the camber arm. They go on the end of the rear springbucket. If you pick up a high speed metal cutting bit like is recommended, it takes ~5 mins per side.

There are 2 sets of identical concentric bolts(toe bolts) on the rear suspension which look exactly the same. One set is located on the end of the springbucket(holds the spring) and one on the end of the camber arm. You want to replace the one on the end of the spring bucket
