Hello LR G Coupe I have been lurking in the shadows here ever since I bought my G but you have made me make my first post! Last night I was driving very casually on Palisades Parkway, in cruise control, about 55 mph. It was about 11:40 PM, and there wasn't much traffic. At about 11:50 PM you passed me, at about 60 mph, I was the IP G Coupe. I sped up to cruise with you and flashed my 4 ways to say hello! We fooled around very casually the entire time, nothing crazy, I passed you, you followed for a bit, you passed me, I followed for a bit, again, nothing crazy, no speeding, very casual. Approaching some traffic ahead, an 03 Maxima flys by us at about 80 mph driving very recklessly. We sped up to catch up to see what the hurry was, but at the same time kept our distance. Upon catching up, we also hit the traffic that was ahead. A trail blazer or highlander and a sedan. The trail blazer/highlander was in the right lane while the sedan was in the left and the maxima was closely following the sedan urgently trying to pass. It was just us 5, and long empty road ahead. The sedan was matching the trail blazer/highlanders speed so it couldn't make a pass and the maxima started to recklessly change their mind between left and right lanes and frantically strobe their lights and honk at the cars in front of them. This is when we sped up to play. Turning off my lights and creeping up behind the maxima while it was behind the sedan and then popping them back on you followed by blocking the right lane. The sedan started to speed up, but not enough for the maxima to cut off the trailer blazer/highlander and move ahead of everyone. This is when **** got crazy.... You switched positions from the right lane to the center of a two-lane tight as **** highway, dropped a gear, and floored it right down the center of palisades parkway, passing all 3, the maxima, sedan, and trail blazer/highlander without a scratch on your car... not to mention you didn't even hesitate to do so. I was scared ****less for you, I never saw something that looked like it was from a movie in person, I can't imagine the adrenaline rush you had. Once ahead of everyone you took the left lane and slowed down while I took the right lane, and you matched my speed so the maxima could not pass, who then exited a few miles ahead. We then continued to drive very casually after the maxima had took his exit cruising no faster than 60-65 mph, warning eachother of deers sighted by flashing our brights. At the end of the parkway we split, you went left and I went right and before we left you flashed your 4 ways to say good bye and I strobed my brights to also say farewell... Laser Red coupe, who are you?

seems like the LR coupe was more reckless than the maxima IMO.. and how did you manage to get ahead as well? well written first post I must say tho

 

After LR coupe went up the middle (past the maxima and SUV) he took the right lane, then passed the sedan in the right lane and took over the left lane when he was clear to. Then he drove slower than the SUVs speed and the sedan moved over to the right as did I (from behind the maxima) and the LR went slow enough so that the sedan and SUV both passed in the right lane and the maxima was left following the LR coupe in the left lane and with me in the right lane.

 

Everyone except the Maxima driver should be shot...

The maxima driver obviously got fed up with your gay flirtation with the guy in the red G and finally got by just to be held up by the slow bastids hog'n the road side by side, poor guy, on a nice open road surrounded by 4 morons.

It really did seem like it would have been more heroic had the LR Coupe passed everyone and moved to the right lane and slowed down so the lane would open up for the Maxima. Might have been a very good reason for going fast.

I don't know.
