Tried Zaino...didn't like it....so I bought some Meguiar's NXT tech wax 2.0

Zaino just didn't cut if for my black G. So I'm trying out a new product from Meguiar's called NXT Tech Wax 2.0 Apparently...on the front of the box.. there's a black G35 with an immaculate shine (or so I think it's a G35). So this should work for mine too right???

On a more serious note, I've never used Meguiar's products before. If you have used Meguiars before...what were your experiences with their products?

It's what I've used for the past couple of years. I've been more than happy with it. I don't have a black G, but I've used it on my girl's black acura and gets rid of the fine hairline swirls everytime.

I've used Meguiar's Gold Class and a couple other ones. I'm a big Meguar's fan. This product should work well.

IMO, zaino products are overly priced anyway. I'm sure they're great products and all, but any products that claims to "last long" should get dull and dirty just like any other wax/polish depending on how much you drive your car. Pollen, rain, moisture will stick no matter what, especially following cars and trucks on a rainy day on the highway. The price, the shine, and the ease of use on the NXT is good enough for me.

megs and mothers products are some of the best for over the counter products. honestly you cant just expect to put a coat a wax on and think your car is going to look brand new .. it will look better and protect .. but if you have hairlines and RIDS all over your car .. the wax wont do much, unless it has fillers that hide a lot of the swirls .. best is to clay, polish, seal and wax

What Zaino products did you use? Zaino is not like a traditional wax where you put on 1 coat and you get amazing results. It is a system that when used properly yields phenomenal results. I layer Zaino with Natty's Blue wax and get this:

The best part might be that what you see will last 3-4 months if not longer with nothing more than a gentle wash when needed.

You won't get these results from just a wax!

There's no doubt that Meguiar's makes quality products, I use several. One thing you'll find with their NXT wax it won't last, water will bead but the surface won't maintain the high gloss just waxed look for more than 30 days. If you have the time to wax your G once a month you've made a good choice and it will look great!

if you really expect your wax to last much longer than a month or two thats pretty wishful thinking. go to sealants if you want that long lasting but then you wont get your full shine
