In MA i pay $50 to renew the plate on my G35 and $75 to renew the Vanity plate on my Mustang.

Flat fees.

$300+ sounds redicuous. What is that fee for?

My sentiments exactly.
Cali legislators have their heads up their asses.
Been bleeding us dry for years.
I paid $355 for 06 coupe.

105 or thereabouts in Ut btw the reason they raised your registration prices is no one in California will vote as a citizen for anything that will help out your states economy. So the legislature has to vote things like that in to keep its head a little bit closer to out of water.

Mine is $21.00 for the registration fee, but $224.01 in property tax, so $245.01 total for an 05 G35x.

Don't know yet, will find out in a month or so when the notice arrives, but I'm guessing around $200 in Michigan for an '05. I'm curious to hear from the Washington State crowd. When I lived in Oregon, it was like $25 for 2 years and Washington was about $500 per year! I think they've since dropped those rates down, but we'll see.

Sorry tdhps, your idea is wrong had they put anything on the ballet that made since and didn't hurt education it would have passed. The very worst thing CA. can do is cut education, that will eventually come back and bite us in the azz! We need to clean house in Sacramento and stop the over spending on worthless projects and close our borders.
