Injen intake Maf Sensor

I just recently purchase a used injen intake and bought a new injen filter for it. I notice a lot of people said there cars been turning off and rpm has been low after they switched over to aftermarket intake due to maf sensor. Is everyone having this problems or is it only for 6mt on neutral? Will the after market intake mess up my MAF sensor?

In many cases, a dirty MAF can shut a car off, but an aftermarket intake could trip out a check engine light once intalled because it senses a different reading in air ratio. I dont think it would shut a car off because of an aftermarket intake. The check engine light will eventually go away when the car reconfigures itself and recognizes the new air ratio.
