freakin dust magnet

Is it just me or do all these cars seem to have a negative charge on the body panels at all time?

you can look closely and any dust particles in the air just get pulled onto the body panels if they even get close. I can wash and wax and have a coat of dust in an hour. Even waxing it sucks the dust from the wax wipe off right back on. I have to wax and then hit it with a california duster right after to get the wax dust off.

a california duster works about twice between washings and then just spreads the dust around and never picks it up. Wasn't there a product a while back that you could spray on your duster that would negativly charge it to make the dust stick to it without leaving residue on the surface of whatever ur dusting? I need some of that.

I know exactly how you feel. Unfortunately it doesn't get any better, lol. But hey, no other color looks so good when it's clean

there's gotta be a way to reverse polarity so it repels rather than attracts.

somebody figure it out and patent it. The next must have option. A car that repels dust.

Not kidding. that would be a million dollar idea

zaino has honestly been the best solution/sealant/wax ive used for this problem. Its really hard when your creating friction on the surface when taking it on and off for a charge not to be made.

We all have the same issue with dark colors, the only real solution is trade your OB for IP. The dust will still be there but you won't notice it....
What I use, California Duster then detail spray with micro towel. At least I leave my garage clean, that's good for at least two blocks....Ouch!

the joy of owning black car. I dont have any issue with my cali duster, as long as I dust everyday and use a quick detailer when needed, the car stays clean for as long as it doesnt rain.

Is my California duster the only one that leaves these wax streaks or marks?
