The 6K LED license plate lights are just fine IMO. I live in a very police proactive part of my city and they have never pulled me over for my 6K LED license plate light. I would be more worried if you didn't have a license plate light or if it was too dim. Obviously, the 6K LED lights are not blue, purple, red, or neon green. For all intense purposes, I consider them white. Don't freak out. Install them and enjoy.

Being hassled in cali sucks.. cops are so lame these days.. i switched taillights with my buddy so he could get his fix it ticket signed off.. and i swear im going to get pulled over.. there too black. Thats why i dont even have window tint in the front anymore :[

cali cops are DOUCHES.
they hide out at like every single corner, i see at least 4-5 everyday driving home.

I think it depends on your demeanor and profile and what you are doing at the time. Obviously if you are speeding and switching lanes hazardously then your going to get hit with as much as possible. Then again hate to say it, but modded cars with younger people tend to draw more attention then an older person doing the same. Either way they are wrong and anything non oem can be considered for off road use only.

I've had my OB coupe for coming up on 2 years. No front plate, clear corners, 20% tint all around and I live in cali. I see cops everyday and they don't even look twice at me. I got pulled over once a couple days after I bought it because the plate was expired and the temp reg was attached to the windsheild and he couldn't see it from behind.
He ran it and everything checked out so all I got was a "have a nice evening"

I've had clear corners w/ white led in them for a half year already and I also have had smoked corners and blue led in them for the first half of the year and have not been bothered ever for them well at least so far lol
