Living in the DC area with some of the worst traffic in the Nation I can tell you that I do not regret my decision to get a 6MT Sedan. If you truly enjoy driving a manual transmission then you won't even notice it.

I just moved out of NYC in February, and I had two sticks. Never had a problem driving, even though I was always on the train anyway. When I did drive, it was mostly at night or places where traffic wouldn't be a problem. I had a Celica GT-S 6-speed, and driving stick is way more fun, especially on the West Side Highway and the Belt Parkway going towards LI (after JFK).

Driving stick in NYC isn't as bad as people make it out to be, unless you drive through Manhattan, which in that case, just take the train.

the only other white 6mt i've seen is a guy from texas selling one for $19400 but with 50k miles... he does have a new motor in it though...

PM me if you need any help finding them. I'm making the dealership be the 6mt sedan kings!

if you've always lived in NYC, you're used to traffic and driving a 6mt.

TbagzG35 is one of those guys who thinks the coupe is sportier than the sedan, even though the coupe is heavier/slower.

This is an age old debate on this board, but straight up. When I use to drive stick in traffic I wanted to shoot myself.

So glad my G is auto for that reason, but if it wasn't my DD then I would have definitely loved the 6MT, I miss it when I have some open road but the times when there is traffic just can't make up for it

I've driven in NYC and I would definitely be going 5at, you won't even see 6th gear!
