My solution, call all the driver people i have in my phone till i find someone who can bring me a spare oem wheel LOL!!!!

It doesn't work with a 10" rear with low rise hub.
Been looking here & haven't been able to find one.
I'm trying to come up with a cheap aftermarket alternative.
Other than that you can go with a fix a flat kit,
like the 'Conti Kit' at Tirerack
My ///M Z4 came w/o a spare & had a similar kit from BMW.

I've been thinking about the spare issue every since I got Akebonos... for now I'll rely on AAA (100 mile tow) - and I have 2 cans of fix-a-flat in the trunk for worst case scenario - yes I know it will destroy the TPS and probably the tire, but it will get me there in a pitch.
On the other hand - I'm running 20mm spacer so I wonder if thats enough clearance for the OEM donut? doubtful, but at least it opens more spare options... I really dont want to run around with some big fat-@ss wheel in the trunk though ~

I don't know if this would work for the G or not but on my previous car I had a BBK and the trick to using the donut was to put in on reversed. Just turn it around so the outside becomes the inside.
here's a situation i found myself in a couple of years ago:
- 19" Volk LE37T wheels
- Stoptech 14" BBK front and rear
hit a pothole and bent the rim. pulled the wheel off and shipped it off to get it fixed. my car was in the garage for 2.5 weeks, standing on 2 jacks (both on the same corner, to spread the weight) - since neither my old wheels nor the spare doughnut fit over the brakes. i paid only $150 for wheel repair (which was done masterfully), but meanwhile also paid a small fortune for the rental car.
after that i sold both the wheels and the BBK and said "fvck it", never again.
so, think twice. know your options.

I have some 17" winter wheels that are sitting in my garage - but they won't clear the brakes so I was just seeing if anyone had some ideas.
Will the fix a flat ruin the actual inside of the rim - nothing you can't just scrape off correct?
I'm most worried about having camber wear on the inside of the tire and getting a flat where the fix a flat stuff won't work... had that happen twice before
I may look for an OEM 19" or something and throw it back there for long trips as well...
I have a OEM 19 spare in my sedans trunk it fits and it does not lift the trunk mat that much, .
Funny story i was on a road trip got a flat took it off, replaced with the spare and drove 150 miles to our destination. Got to a gas station i had a nail in the tire , i took it off bought a tire repair kit plug and 10 min later plug is in air in the spare and i was good to go again .

we need a list of OEM wheels (g35, g37 and both Zs) that will clear Akebonos... I think only the wheels that come on the G37s fit - apparently 19" OEM G35 - I presume same with the Zs?
So anyone got one of those to sell me?
