Question Daily Driven Rides with BBK - get in here

I just purchased the Akebono BBK from the G37 and was wondering for all of you running BBK's - what do you all do for a spare?

I'm guessing a bunch of people are gonna say get AAA and i probably will, but i have an 80 mile roundtrip to work and there are always cars on the median with flats, i imagine it's only a matter of time before that is me.

Typically when i go on trips and have room i would just throw one of my winter wheels in the trunk as a precaution - however i am fairly certain those will no longer fit either...

Just wondering what you all have done - any help is appreciated!

I was going to say keep the spare and use that, but then I realized the coupes didn't get the full size spare option like the sedans did.

I think that some have looked for a G37 spare (that had the Akebono BBK) in wreck yards because it clears BBKs. Once I get my rears I really should search around for one, I guess I could always throw an OEM 19 in the trunk on long trips.

I'm beyond that...

-too low for a spare
-BBK
-no room in the trunk for a spare

I'll figure it out when it happens lol

work at a towing company and get free tows whenever you want?

Been looking here & haven't been able to find one.
I'm trying to come up with a cheap aftermarket alternative.

Other than that you can go with a fix a flat kit,
like the 'Conti Kit' at Tirerack

My ///M Z4 came w/o a spare & had a similar kit from BMW.

Does the rear wheels clear the BBK? If they do you can swap them while using the spare for the rears. That is what I did when I had a BBK on my C.
