Technically, it is illegal. But chances are, if a cop pulls you over just for no front plate, he was gonna pull you over for anything anyways. So don't worry about it.

cops would have pulled u over more with the billet grill on since it makes ur car look like it belong to a drug dealer.

why not get the bracket that i told you that tucks the plate under the bumper? you can get it cheaper if you don't get the electronic one, a custom sound shop in my area gets them

I have a billet grill and still rockin it,but the more i look at painted oem grills im thinking about doing the swap.
