VDC/ABS/SLIP lights on---check your battery
Recently my VDC/ABS/SLIP lights came on. I searched the forums for some help. I checked my brake fluid like most posts said, it was good, so i let my car sleep on it and see if the lights would return in the morning. When i started my car the next morning there were no lights. That was until i pressed my brake peddle. When i did, my peddle would "POP" and the warning lights would come on, every time i started the car. I took it to the dealer and ALL of this was due to a bad battery. It cost me $200 just to diagnose, and almost another $100 for the battery and labor. All because a stupid ******* battery. Just thought I'd post this because i haven't seen this answer to this warning lights issue yet.
That sucks, a tip for next time make a post here and wait for answers if you can before going to the stealership. a new battery is 70 ish bucks(Duralast gold, great battery), and installing a battery is a piece of cake. Takes 15 min.
I am interested my self, since I never read about a battery issue, I assume if the car can start it has enough juice? Well I hope someone can put in some comments.
