why coupe, not sedan?

lol thanks
why is telling the truth hating? The coupe was super cool back when it came out but now even the g37 is 3 years old. no one NEEDS less doors. All of the coupes supposed advantages over the sedan turned out to be blown out of proportion, like the extra 20 hp

As I stated in an earlier post, I don't need or wanted another sedan. I went with a coupe cause I already have a GS300 and a Honda Pilot as I stated in my other post. A coupe was a nice addition. I also couldn't find an IP 6MT sedan at that time.
The small weight advantage of the sedan is also blown out of proportion. The 50-100 pounds is going to feel "faster". Let alone, most G35 owners rarely even track their cars.
The whole coupe debate is such a useless debate. In the end we're all G35 owners.
Get what YOU need and what fits YOUR style whether it's a coupe or a sedan. We're blessed with choices.

you're right, if I had come across a 6 speed coupe when i was looking for my car i probably would have bought it anyway, it doesn't really matter...the sedan is fulgy but the coupe is played out
although i like my 2 door cars to be hatchbacks, my two previous cars (rsx-s and celica gt-s) both had a ton of space for junk if you put the seats down considering how small they were, where as my sedan would have trouble fitting a lot of the stuff i stuffed into those two cars...they were just too damn noisy on the highway

The sedan felt better than the coupe when I drove them both with a 6MT.
It may just be the driving position to the shifter and clutch, but after driving them both the same day, I just couldn't do it.
I still use the sedan to show that I don't care about looks, and it's what's inside that counts. It's not ugly, but the coupe is definitely sexier.

there aren't as many coupes as sedans, period. Especially automatic sedans, they are all over the place like civics. I even see some in my area where the closest infiniti dealer is 66 miles away

I rerely see a sedan in the DFW area
I got the sedan cuz of the extra doors, more room in the back and more room in the trunk
It makes sense since my friends and business folk usually need a ride

I've only driven sedans as loaners. I do not like them at all. Feels like a completely different car.
A lot of that may have to do with the loaners being AT's. I am not at all an AT guy.
