As I stated in an earlier post, I don't need or wanted another sedan. I went with a coupe cause I already have a GS300 and a Honda Pilot as I stated in my other post. A coupe was a nice addition. I also couldn't find an IP 6MT sedan at that time.

The small weight advantage of the sedan is also blown out of proportion. The 50-100 pounds is going to feel "faster". Let alone, most G35 owners rarely even track their cars.

The whole coupe debate is such a useless debate. In the end we're all G35 owners.

Get what YOU need and what fits YOUR style whether it's a coupe or a sedan. We're blessed with choices.
I'll say it again.

Personally, I think the Sedan is better looking than the Coupe, mostly because the Coupe looks terrible from the rear. Looks like some wild cat in heat with her **** up in the air waiting to get poked.

(Christ, my flame suit's at the dry cleaners!)
I feel the same way. I think the rear of the coupe is slightly too narrow and high.

i like that the sedan looks boring, makes it more surprising when it does something sporty..lol

i guess technically you could call the sedan faster, but you are talking about 38lbs or something, i doubt you would notice that in a race

any videos?
yes, but I dont want to ruin my new-found realization that sedans are plain wrong I cant bring myself to show a sedan fluke beating a coupe... becasue we all know there are too many ancillary reasons why that happens...

sedans are just poop and I wish we could all agree to this and close the thread (after-all, this is the 10,572th thread about it)

Some people take this to heart!

Let's start another Auto vs Manual thread while we're at it.

The problem I find is on 'Driver everyone is die hard about what they have. All the 6mt drivers flame the 5at drivers, the coupe people flame the sedan people, etc.

There is no other sedan I'd want... especially not at this price point. Sure I'd love a 2010 750i, but I'm short about 70grand.

I like big cars as daily drivers, not saying the Gsedan is big, but the Gcoupe feels confined where the sedan doesn't. If I wanna feel confined, I'll drive the Z.

Good chance my next car would be an M (56 ) if things go good for me and I've got some money floatin' around. 7 series bmw for sure.

Janik agrees with me, big cars are whats up.

Only ignorant people would make comments regaurding Sedan G35's or Sedans in general.

If you were to take some time out and research some fast 4-doors the list goes on and on.
Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION
Subaru Imprezza STi
Mercedes C55, C63, E55, E63 all AMG models.
BMW 335i's, M3's.

These are all performance cars that can run hand in hand w/ coupes.

to those who think it's more work to make sedans look sexy, think about this... take a a top sedan, like Marcus's. now imagine a coupe w/the same setup. it'd be nice, yes but would it be one of the top coupes? nope. it take's way more work to build a coupe that really stands out. the sedan just take's to mods better, IMO. i do love coupes don't get me wrong, it's all love. i was looking at coupes when i picked up my sedan. 3 DG coupes lookin' sexy as hell and this 1 GF sedan w/gold emblems. i was like, "WOW, that thing look's sweet." jumped in, the back seats reclined... WHAT? Nice, i likey. well-modded sedans just come out so D@MN clean.

I grew outta the coupe, the Z is where my heart is for 2doors.

My outlook on cars has pretty much always been this.

As many doors as there is passengers, everything else is an inconvenience.

I disagree, lightly modded coupe and I still get plenty of turning heads every day
