Temp was in the mid 30's yesterday morning and I did a quick wash on mine before I went to work. Can't stand to see my car dirty.

And I'm definitely old.

Well, hopefully you're removing the dirt particles when you wash the car. I haven't seen any negative impact from using a silicone squeegee. A friend of mine has 3 or 4 nice German cars, and he's extremely **** about keeping them buffed and polished, and he uses and recommends a squeegee for drying, along with a quality microfiber towel.

And using the sheeting method isn't possible at a DIY car wash. If I could driveway wash it year round, it would be different, but we're talking about winter washing in cold weather.

You're definitely older than i thought you were. My dad is 53, and he doesn't mod his car, so that makes you badass!

For some reason I thought you and I already had this discussion when we were talking about you riding to Cali with me if I had gone to the sedan meet.

Anyway, I firmly believe you're only as old as you feel!!!
