Half painted front bumper.

Ok so heres the issue. I have a pretty deep scratch on the front bumper of my G and cant stand looking at it so i took it the shop to get a quote on it. The guy tells me its $300 to paint the whole bumper and remove all minor rock chips. But then the dude tells me ill charge you $150 and just work on the scratch and remove it then paint that half side of the bumper and just blend the paint to the rest of the bumper so it would look good. So my question to you guys is if its worth doing that or just paying to do the whole bumper. Has anybody ever done this? im curious cause it sounds good but dont want to do it and it looks weird.

Do the whole thing. Its gonna hold up better that the thin paint Infiniti uses. Usually doors or 1/4 panels are blended. I wouldnt bother blending a bumper, just do the whole thing.

Paint the while thing. $300 is pretty cheap, so make sure he does a good job. Some people blend the fenders to make it better.

I doubt he is blending the quarters panels and hood for $150..he may mean he will blend it with the rest of the bumper..I would pay the $300

It cost more than $300 to paint and blend a complete bumper.

It's called reading..something I didn't do.

Getting a bumper sprayed for $300 is reasonable. I wouldn't pay more.
