is it worth it to buy front and rear strut tower braces if you buy the tie braces too? or would you suggest one or the other? and how much were your braces? im about to buy my struts from stillen, the front is 195, the rear is onlly 150

just get the GT spec ones. pretty much the same price and the GTs looks better

im rockin the front STB
front and lower tie braces

you can buy the gt spec braces at riverside infiniti

yea I saw that someone is selling them on the marketplace but cant reply to him until the 100 posts and 45day thing so im restricted so far lol

Since when does the number of posts relate to how knowledgeable you are? Not everyone lives on g35driver like you. There is an outside world you know, where real people have been modifying cars since before the internet.

yesss!!!! thank you dude, my point exactly. i know what i plan on doing to my G in the next few weeks when i get my bonus haha i research every brand before i buy stuff

yeah i looked at the GTspecs now, idk a strut is kinda a strut to me, but ill prob buy the gt's because it shouldnt restrict which intake i get and i wont have to remove the engine cover haha

the gt spec is adjustable but you need to adjust it properly or it will rub on the hood lining. pretty much all STB's rub on it anyways

i took mine off and problem solved! lol

So even after adjusting the gt spec strut it rubs the hood liner?

its has to precise! few MM off and it will rub.
buy if you dont have a spacer you can put it all the way down just dont hit the intake pipe

i plan on getting the gt spec for sure now but heres my question. only putting that there after the 5/8 spacer ill have to remove the engine cover and itll be fine with th stock intake right? until i get like an aem intake at which point itll still be ok?

well id put the gt spec on with the valve cover and try to make it precise, as for rubbing on engine thats why Im also getting torque damper....limit engine movement and there wont be rubbing, or at least i hope

yeah if you guys remove the engine cover then you can lower the gt spec bar more
engine damper is ok too. ill be selling my stillen engine damper if any of you guys interested.

also why you wanna put a 5/8 there rob? if your car is non revup(06-07) you can just use a 1/2 spacer from motordyne

in regards to intakes if you want it to be an easy install/uninstall fujita clean and simple
