New to G site

Ok so I bought my bros G off him and wanted to do some mods to the car but not sure what to really do. Currently the G looks great, its all black with 20's and the rear lights are tinted with circles cut out to give the skyline look. Im thinking I wanna do handling adjustments with strut bars and torque damper, if anyone can recommend good brands or sell me some that would be great.

Also Im not to savvy with engines but if anyone knows what is worth getting for performance feel free to let me know. Im coming from having my civic so the G is a big step up lol thx for the help

If you would like to improve handling, I'd suggest some nice suspesnion. You won't benefit much from strut bars.

Not sure what they're called but it was a pretty cool set up, i'm probably just gonna do springs for a drop cuz I'm too broke for a full setup. Btw I was driving earlier this morning and the vdc off light and slip light turned on and stayed on, I know that's the traction crap but it took like a good 2-3 min pf the car turned off to turn that off, wonder if there's a traction issue

Once you lower your OB G35 you'd benifit from adjustable sways, adjustable endlinks and an upper strut bar like Richie's. What mods has your brother done under the hood or was he all about looks? Welcome to Driver....

umm he didnt do anything to the engine just more appearance stuff like 12k bulbs, the rims, tinted rear lights, blue interior lighting. I added the new sound system so the car pounds pretty good

if you wanna get some speed get the hks clone exhaust, a cai, then the cobb accessport, thing is sick as hell dude. exhaust i found for 250 private party, a cai is pricey as is the cobb ac, and you should prob throw in some test pipes too

PK....be very careful of the opinions you see, especially a Noob member with only 4 posts! Get involved with the DRIVER members from NorCal, they're a great bunch of guys and very knowledgable. Cobb is a tuning device, I wouldn't go there until you've made a few more mods....G/L

wow a noob member means i dont know anything about the car then huh? idiot, anyways to answer your question cobb ac is an ecu overhaul its a 500 dolalr investment they have them for subarus, nissans, mitsubishis too. but to use a stage 2 you have to "unrestrict" your G and get a new intake and exhaust pref. one with test pipes or high flow cats if you have emission tests by you, then you can install the cobb ac which is like a plug and play device. go to cobbtuning.com check it out, and as far as exhaust i havent seen anything better for the price for the x02 hks true dual clone.
