I THINK the emblem has two grommets, and the words "Infiniti" and "G35" are glued on. Easy removal with Goo Gone and a heat gun.

Fishing line or dental floss with blow dryer. Goo gone for clean up.

There's only pins on the sedan, the coupes are just on with tape.

Just leave you car out in the sun or use a hair dryer on the letters. IMO, a heat gun is over kill. Slide the the fishing line underneath the letters to separate the letters from the adhesive. After that just soak the remaining adhesive on the paint with goo gone and scrape or wipe it off. It will take multiple applications.

I've always wondered how the assembly workers and, if you're unfortunate, body shop workers too center and affix the emblems when there's no grommets to align the emblems.

If they do it right and buy the "INFINITI" emblem new they come with a template.

I did the same thing, it looks a little cleaner in my opinion with the G35 gone.
Seemed a little too cluttered for me.
I have a pic of it in my profile but it's kinda hard to see with the glare from the sun.
I think I might repaint the emblems a gun metal or smoke grey and see how that looks.
Give it a meaner look.
