Engine Start Up High Rev

I have a 2006 G35 6MT with about 45,000 miles on it. I live in Florida and the past few days when I start my car it will rev around 1,800 rpm's for about a min or two. The car never use to do this. I could understand if it was cold out but the weather has been in the 70's.

Is there anything that I can check or should I just bring it into the dealer?

I have already checked the oil and that is fine. I also checked to see if the air filter was dirty and it wasn't.

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Thanks,

I did check the throttle and it seemed fine. It fixes the problem on its own after a few min but just seems strange that all of a sudden it started to happen.

This is normal. On cold starts the engine rev to 1.5k plus to help warm the car faster.
