hey my homie has the 08 350z 18's(stock) and he has 295/40/18's. I wanna swap them on my 04 coupe and i alsooo have stockers....do any of you guys know if i will have any fitment issues and if not waths the maxx size for oems....=)

 

well i got 285\40\ on my stockys now i dont think you can go more then a 305 35 or 305 30

 

what kind and du u feel a huge differnece on overall grip as opposed to having the stock 240/245s...?

 

If you're gonna stretch your tires that much you'd be a fool to drive them hard. You'd probably end up like this fool.

 

i had some bfg g force ta and yes launch's were much better and handling as well

 

don't do it, why do something so unsafe as sizing the tire so much higher than what it was made for? if you want bigger tires get wider rims.

Go and read the oem 19 thread and all the articles on the internet about over sizing tires. Obviously from the lack of research and the fact that you can't spell for a dime you are going to do whatever want you want regardless of reason. Go ahead and put some massively over sized tires and come back here crying when your car is wrecked and you are in the hospital or dead.
