hey everybody,

I have an 04 g35 sedan, which I am very happy with but will be even happier if I could get some better performace out of it. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I could gain about 20 horses without spendiing a fortune? all suggestions are welcome along with dealer links and product names.

whats without spending a fortune? You will need atleast $1500-$2000 to gain 20 legit WHP.

 

20whp won't do crap. It won't even shed off 1 second off your 1/4 time.

 

20 whp will do a lot with a decent midrange power. In fact it will do enough to put almost a buslength on the same car stock in a high speed race.
Have you ever been to a drag strip? Do you know what shaving off a second from ET means? Do you evenn know what shaving 0.5 second means, or gaining 2-3 MPH?

 

start with exhaust, and underdrive pully, and headers

 

Spacer, HFC's, and exhaust should get you more than 20 HP. Cost you between $1000-$2000 though depending what exhaust you get.

Our cars don't come cheap.

 

The best way to make your car faster (or any car that is), is by making the driver faster. Don't spend $1500-2000 for 20whp insted use that money for track days or a program like HPDE.

+1... HP is nothing if it's in the hands of a poor driver.

But if you are a great driver already, plenum spacer, cats and exhaust.
