Whats the difference performance wise between g35 coupe and the g35 sedan ? are the ECU's tuned differently ? if I get a sedan would i get the same power out of it as a coupe if I get the ECU tuned correctly ?

Same ECU same motor as long as you are comparing apples to apples ie. 5AT to 5AT ot 6MT to 6MT.

The rumor is the sedans are slightly faster because they weigh a little less than the coupe. The way the coupe doors are built and suppported weigh more than 4 smaller doors. Go figure!!

 

Get whatever you want. But the Sedan is every bit as good as the Coupe. Plus it's slightly lighter, has more room, and you can usually pick up a Sedan for a good bit less.
Also, Don't let the factory HP ratings fool you, put them on a dyno, and they're the same.
