the one in first link is $82 for delivery - so it ends up being over $200...

there are several HF in So Cal (I dont know where else or where the OP is) - so its a good choice for local pick up.

Yea, I noticed that shipping on service jacks usually costs just as much as the jack itself. I am actually located in Irvine. I think there is a HF near Orange IIRC. If I end up going w/ this jack, I will definitely pick it up at their store to save on shipping.

Costco has the Arcan. Too bad you guys don't have Northern Tool over there, it's a pretty neat place.

LOL. I'm actually curious about it, i hear they're opening one somewhere in Texas. We seem to be having an influx of burger joints around here... Smash Burger, Five Guys, etc...

Its like 50% off normal price its nuts.

More specifically the Jack from Costco is this one
http://www.amazon.com/Arcan-2-Ton-Jack-Professional-Profile/dp/B0035ISJE8/ref=pd_sbs_t_1 http://www.amazon.com/Arcan-2-Ton-Jack-Professional-Profile/dp/B0035ISJE8/ref=pd_sbs_t_1
Same one as in the OP just Red, thats what the R stands for in the model number.

This jack will work well if you're not low.. but for lowered vehicles, you will need some sort of a ramp to fit the jack under the car

How much did you pick it up for? My local costco sells them for $90 bucks.

^ eh That jack is 180 bucks and is not that much better other then its lighter. The Arcan is Garage jack to keep at home. It also can lift your car up quickly, I dont know about 6 pumps but people say less then 2 min.

yup, no lie. 4-6 pumps and the tire is off the ground. another 2 pumps and you're at good high to put the jacks.

i love it, as much as i take off and put on my rims, or change my oil, etc.

i had the costco jack and it lasted me a good year of repeditive usage, it started leaking hydralic fluid and one of the rear wheels snapped off.
