Infiniti Performance Line (IPL) is coming this year

Over the years as a former 350Z owner I always heard G owners complain how they don't have Nismo support. Well I just came across an article from autoblog.com that should make everyone happy. Enjoy.

Sweet. I'm very interested in what kind of turbo and superchargers they'll come out with .

So sales revenue are down and Infinti now wants to get in the ricer market? lol

The G35 is the only model that sold well. Not sure how their new IPL is going do. It sure doesn't sound as cool as NISMO...

I thought Infiniti was suppose to be a Luxury brand? Now they want to get into the "performance" market?

Is Infinti still not sure what the hell they are?

What I think might happen is that they will put their entire R&D on the G37 line vs. the old G35. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Any who if Nismo is expensive as hell and Infiniti is the high-end side of Nissan I could only can imagine the tag price for the upgrades. Regardless of the outcome it’s a step forward for Infiniti/Nissan.

Why not just stick with Nismo and bring that over to Infinti? Instead of IPL?
