Rolling a different kind of way

Rolling a different kind of way
So, I have modified my G to the point of about 8 to 10 mpg, and I typically run 100 octane. (Stand alone Engine Mgmt.)... even with my Utec I ran 100 and could really tell the difference, tuned for it or not.
It got to the point where I just needed a serious gas cruncher that's reliable and cheap. I got Soul... I have to admit I kind of like it, a lot.
As far as perfomance goes, it's about as fast as the speed of smell, but I can deal with it. I got the go fast car when I want that. Interesting enough Stillen and others are making mods for them... including Cat back and intake... but I won't do it.. maybe?
I have no idea how this will hold up over time, but they have a good warranty and it fits the bill for now.

Versa maybe but I wanted to sit a litter higher. So tired of being so low to the ground... the Cube 1.5L engine... yikes.

I could not find the turbo diesel... but on the Kia forums some say they do exist in the states.
Rumors of a 2.4L AWD next year, but you know how rumors are... there is plenty of room in engine bay if they ever decide to go a bit bigger... 2.4 like the newer Scion would be nice.

I never knew how people could stand not to drive their cool car all the time. I drive my G35c all South Dakota winter long and love every minute of it. Then again, we do have the wife's car for times when things need to be hauled. It would be kind of hard to live with just a G coupe in the garage. If I had your gas bill, I might also understand more

I might have got 20 when it was stock... but yes 8 - 10 nav gas and my car is tuned is very tight. With the Utec might have been a bit better but not so with the Haltech.

I hate needing to know where I could, and could not get in a shopping center, because I'm lowered a bit... not even that much. Not really a solid grocery getter either.
Most of all, the roads in Tucson are just embarrassingly bad... it's a lot funner to drive the G when I can just fart around. Saturday night you can bet I drive the G

lol.. we do have the bolt-ons.. definitely transforms the sound of the car with the intake and exhaust (axle-back).. and do have a strut tower brace, and eibach makes springs for them.
Whatever you do don't do a 1-2 full throttle shift.. I won't go into details..
It's not a bad little econobox.. and does have a ton of room in it.. hard to compare to the Z/G world.. and definitely not made for high speed fuel mileage.. Drove it to SEMA.. it's much happier under 80.
