G35 vs Mini Cooper S
G35 vs Mini Cooper S
No, I'm not talking about speed...
I'm more concerned about trunk space. With the rear seat folded down on both cars, which do you guys think have the most room? I want to say the Mini, but everytime I look at it, I always say theres no way it has more room... Anyone have any experience?

Mini. The mini is actually a hatch so theres always going to be more room than the g35 coupe.
But wtf if your choosing the car based on the trunk space, then you have the wrong cars.

Everytime I look at the mini though... Theres no way it could have more space... I just don't see it. I NEED PROOF!
haha. I'm going to be doing alot of moving around towns pretty soon (with all of my gear), and I'm thinking I need something affordable, reliable, fun, and has alot of storage space; hence why I've considered the Mini. It might just be time to let the baby go...

Trunk:
Mini From MiniUSA.com: 5.7 cubic feet
G35 From Edmunds.com: 7.8 cubic feet
Rear seat:
Mini 27.5" leg room
G35: 31.4" leg room
They don't list actual cargo capacity of the G35, but I'm guessing you'd fit more in the G35 coupe.

Are those specs from the G35 sedan or coupe? (I have a coupe)
I have a G35 sedan and the truck is almost useless. The opening is so small it is tough to fit anything in it. I could not fit 2 golf bags and 2 3-wheel push carts in the trunck last weekend.

You can't fit awkward objects in the coupe trunk. My ex had a Cooper S, enough space in the back to pile up to the roof line. I'd say go with the mini if you're looking to be recreational.
The problem with the coupe trunk is the opening is so damn small... I tried to fit a couple boxes back there and they couldn't clear the tight opening when they could for sure fit in the truck itself... sucks.
