what's this on/off button in my glovebox?

what's this on/off button in my glovebox?

To the left theres an on/off switch, does anyone know what its for?

Are you talking about the one that cuts off the trunk release button function? The idea is if you turn it off, lock the glove box, the trunk wont release when the button on the lower dash is pushed.

Yes. Turns on with your parking lights (and stays on with your parking lights, regardless if the box door is open or closed).

Trunk realese, when its off the trunk wont open from the inside of the car...glove light box question, on with prking lights doesnt go off unless headlights are off, its in the sedan also.

There's a latch fix for this... the dealer has a service bulletin about this.
