I have the HKS "knock-off" and don't have a problem with other than the mis-aligned tips. Easy fix. Got it for $260 picked up brand new.
I've added test pipes and a Magnaflow resonated x-pipe. The knock h-pipe is a joke. It's only a 1/4" hole drilled into the piping. Almost useless. After the x-pipe, the exhaust is really reduced the sound. Quieter than before the test pipes. Real quiet when cruising on the freeway. If you live in a wet area with lots of rain and snow, chances are that it will rust.
Here's my video's of the exhaust.
Comparison of test pipes and OEM cats (no x-pipe)
With test pipes and x-pipe on the dyno
Idle rev with test pipes and x-pipe
