i recently bought some project kicks racing gear heptagon caliber 24 lug nuts, they were the titanium blue coating color, had them on for about a month and the blue has completey come of and they are now all silver. i thought project kics were a good brand but apparently not, now i wanted to get everyone opinion on what the next lug nuts to buy, i dont want no cheap ones, something where the color wont come off after EVER, thanks

 

all lugs well wear off due to them being anodized. i have work lugs and the still have color after a year and a half. what are you using to install them? look at these to help prevent rim/lug scratches http://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...4285_200334285

 

Rays Engineering are pretty good. Pricey though.

 

i installed them once and i didnt scratch them or nothing,,,it like the heat just evaporated the color right off..lol..its crazy and its only been 1 month,,it there a brand out there that make the lug where the color is solid all the way thru or are they all just coated

 

I have WORK blue lugs and they are still the same color as to when I bought them about 6 months ago... 140bux
