I got a nice one yesterday.

Working on a job at a power plant, dad and I randomly struck up a conversation with a guy wearing a "50'th anniversary" Corvette shirt. We asked which one he drove (there were quite a few in the parking lot, kinda hoping it was the 09 Z06, but wasn't)

He told us about his vettes, then the conversation got around to how you have to be fairly skinny to be comfortable in one... I made a remark about the 350z being really bad about that, then he told us about renting a car a while back....

"It was one of those Infiniti's.... the G35.... but not the 2door, the family size one..."

"The Sedan?"

"Yeah..... man, that thing is NICE! The ride, the comfort, etc... and it's powerful too, I punched it on the interstate and it got to 90 in no time!"

"Yeah, they're pretty nice... I drive one "

"Oh yeah?"

*pulls out pic on phone*

"Yep that's it!"

Then we talked about G's for a little while.

It's nice when a vette guy actually recognizes your car as something more than an econobox.

Kid at work: You still got that red mazda?
Me: ..You mean the Infiniti right? -____-
Kid at work: OH! I always thought mazda made those..you can probably tell I know nothing about cars now
Me: pahah, you stupid foo!

"Is that thing brand new??" (03 coupe..just happened to polish it before I went out)

"G35'S SUCK!" (kid happened to be hanging out of a various-primer-colored prelude)

"..You got new wheels AGAIN?"

everyone thats commented on it likes it, but my truck ('55 f100) seems to get the chicks more

 

today at work guy was saying how a lexus was taking up 2 spots, i said what color is it, he was DG, i was is it that one (point out window at my car) he says yeah... i followed with never been called a lexus before and i take 2 spots so no one gets close to my car to ding it

A couple of weeks ago some kids thought I had Nitrous...I guess my burnt tips fooled them...(HKS Exhaust)

Kid 1 "look at his exhaust..it must be hot!"..

Kid 2 "OHH Crap, he must have NOS"...
