Not sure how they managed to do this but after they fixed the (popping noise) coming from the sunroof. This happened. (Roof liner molding) for the sunroof.

Fix one problem, create another. Infiniti.

How much would this cost? Or should I head back to Infinit?

You are being OCD, however if they did cause the damage it is well within reason to ask for it to be repaired. But like you said, next time you bring it in the car will probably start burning oil or something.

I mean, all you have to do is tug it out.... No need to use a nail or whatever they used to poke at it.

Just vacuumed and detailed my interior after the mess they made.

Notice a few more things. A few of the moldings were improperly installed (Plastic interior panels were overlapping the molding, had to pull the molding out and aligned properly. No biggie.

And then I noticed another deep scratch. On the passenger side plastic seat-belt bolt cover (tiny plastic thing) on the floor covering the bolt or whatever. There is a 1/2 cm scratch. You can see the "fresh" plastic that peeled off. Like it was gouged by a screw driver.

This is ridiculous. I guess they had idiots or "trainees" working on my car.

I feel your pain. I'd go after them for any damage they did.

I've had my car brutalized in warranty service as well. The dealer's generally ok doing mechanical stuff under the hood, but they're messy with interior stuff. They replaced my seat rails due to a TSB, and to do so, they had to get under some trim to remove a few screws, the tech was too lazy and just poked the screwdriver through the side of the seat, leaving two holes. The service manager told me that's the only way to do it and they won't fix it, where in reality you can peel back the trim to access the screws. This really pissed me off, especially since you can't order this trim piece without a whole seat control assembly. When they replaced my radio for its CD ERR F0, they broke several dash pieces because the screws are hard to reach for a lazy tech, which I discovered when the damned thing broke again outside of warranty and I had to get into the dash myself. When they replaced a leaky shock absorber, they had to remove some of the weatherproofing inside the wheel well, so they left it that way, scraped down to the bare metal. It's infuriating how poorly some people treat other people's stuff.

Are the rear seats suppose to be lo0se? I can lift it up about 4 inches off the base. (The part where you sit on). I can grab the edge and lift it up. Is that normal?

The seats off my integra weren't this crappy. LOL

I had the same problem at my dealership when they had to replace my seat bottom cushions, they just poked holes through that tape trim cover, which is nothing more than a adhesive piece of colored tape. I replaced it my own, but it's little things like that they should know better, it's not acceptable, the car wasn't sold to me looking like that, so why would the dealership folks think it is acceptable to perform work like that?

Btw, that trim piece tape for the inside of the seats located on the seat control mechanism IS available sold by itself, you can call Grubbs Infiniti and they can sell it to you, I believe it comes in either black or tan color, but they will know what you are talking about.

Wow, I would be pissed. I mean, I just have a few nicks here and there and I just want the trims that are damaged to be replaced.
