overheated or bad sensor?

get a multi meter and check resistance on the wires. if you do it right it will tell you if you have a short in the wires

yeah, short to power will pop the fuse. either the power wire is melted/cut/crimped.......could be one/both of the motors shorted internally, or possibly the ipdm....but im leanin towards the motors. its a factory warranty job if you take it to the dealer FOR the cooling fan motors.....

probably bad relay? if so, where is the relay located?

had same problem here

Dude i had the same problem you have three things to look at if with the car on you open the radiator cap ant it is bubbling then you dont have to worry bout head gasket second if the water with the cap open moves up and down then ur water pump isnt the issue either in that case then ots either a bad radiator which i doubt cause the cooolant wasnt draining so 80% its your thermostat which is on the lower radiator hose fllow it to the motor and you will see it there it has 3 screws 10 cube and a gasket which you will need to replace also.hope this helps i had the same issue and it was my thermostat.

thanks for all of those helpful infor, my engine coolant fan motor got burned and that caused engine overheated. i replaced it myself for only 35 bucks for part at kragens lol.
